Darren Sarll made two changes to the side that drew 0-0 with Solihull Moors at the weekend. Reuben Reid and Jack Robinson regained the starting places as Jordan Barnett and Mark Little were both out with injuries.
Yeovil lined up in a 4-3-3 formation with Morgan Williams, Luke Wilkinson, Ben Barclay and Jack Robinson in front of Grant Smith. Matt Worthington, Josh Staunton and Dale Gorman made up the midfield while Charlie Wakefield, Reuben Reid and Tom Knowles lead the attack.
On the bench was Max Evans, Alex Bradley, Sonny Blu Lo-Everton, Toby Stephens and Adi Yussuf.
Yeovil kicked off towards the terraced end.
Wealdstone were the better side in the first half but they created little in the way of chances until half time approached.
They won the first corner on 7 minutes as Grant Smith had to make a finger tip save from a long shot from Ira Jackson but the corner was defended at the near post.
Yeovil struggled to get going in the first half but they thought they had taken the lead after 20 minutes as a free kick on the right hand side of goal was crossed into Josh Staunton at the far post and his header found the back of the net but it was ruled out for offside.
The half continued with Yeovil struggling to make their mark on the game and they were punished for their poor play on 38 minutes when the home side took the lead. Some poor defending allowed Wealdstone to put the ball in toe box and Ira Jackson's shot was blocked by Ben Barclay but Joshua Umerah was there to finish the chance off.
Just four minutes later the home side doubled the advantage as a corner kick from the left hand side was crossed into the center and after a short goal mouth scramble Nikola Tavares bundled the ball over the line.
Half Time: Wealdstone 2-0 Yeovil Town
Yeovil again struggled in the second half but Wealdstone didn't create many chances of their own with only corners being their main threat at goal.
Yeovil made a double substitution on 56 minutes as Reuben Reid and Matt Worthington were replaced by Adi Yussuf and Sonny Blu Lo-Everton.
Just after the hour mark Yeovil were given a lifeline back into the game as Medy Elito fouled Dale Gorman in the box and the referee awarded the penalty. Dale Gorman stepped up and fired the ball into the bottom left hand corner with George Wickens diving the correct way but he couldn't get to it.
Wealdstone made their first substitution on 67 minutes as Ira Jackson was replaced by Charlie Cooper.
Five minutes later they made their second substitution as Jamie Mascoll was replaced by Jaydn Mundle-Smith.
Yeovil were still struggling to be creative in this game and couldn't attack with any real intent. It was difficult to see how Yeovil could get anything from the game.
Yeovil made their second substitution on 76 minutes as Morgan Williams was replaced by Alex Bradley.
With 10 minutes to go Yeovil were beginning to get a bit more control of the game and were starting to put a bit of pressure on the Wealdstone goal but as before chances were hard to come by.
Wealdstone made their final substitution on 81 minutes as Medy Elito was replaced by Stephen Browne.
Four minutes of time was added on and Yeovil returned to Somerset empty handed.
Full Time: Wealdstone 2-1 Yeovil Town
Yeovil never really got going in this game - particularly in the first half and with our small squad which is struggling with injuries every game is going to be tough. Our mid-table league position means we are comfortable in terms of not looking over our shoulders but the off the pitch situation needs to be sorted out and hopefully with more backing we can move forward.
Yeovil's season continues on Saturday as we travel to face Eastleigh. Kick off is at 3:00PM.
