Man of the Match Voting Results for Yeovil v Fylde

Last Saturday afternoon Yeovil Town saw off AFC Fylde 3-2 at Huish Park for their fourth straight win. Coming off the back of a superb performance at Halifax Town the previous week Yeovil were looking to continue their momentum.

Yeovil were completely dominant in the first 30 minutes of the match, going 2-0 up inside 15 minutes. Rhys Murphy got the first goal on 5 minutes from after a short free kick was passed to him and just 9 minutes later Miles Hippolyte doubled the lead.

Yeovil almost went 3-0 up shortly after but Rhys Murphy's excellent finish into the top corner was ruled out for offside.

Fylde began to etch their way back into the game towards the end of the first half and they continued that momentum throughout the second. They pulled one back on 59 minutes and it seemed as though they would go on to equalize.

Town restored their two goal advantage on 78 minutes as Jimmy Smith scored on his debut appearance to calm Yeovil nerves. This was to be short lived though, as Fylde got their second on 84 minutes to set up a tense ending to the game.

Yeovil managed to see it out for another three points to put them 4th in the table.
