Man of the Match Voting for Hartlepool v Yeovil The winning streak came to an end yesterday afternoon at Victoria Park as the Glovers went down 2-1 to Hartlepool United. The result ends Yeovil's seven match winning run which started at the end of August when they beat Notts County 3-1. Next Fixture

The first half was fairly un-eventful for both sides, with nothing more than half chances coming and going. Hartlepool looked the better side as they made it very difficult for Yeovil to play their way up the pitch.
2 minutes into the second half Hartlepool go the goal they deserved as Gime Toure fired in a loose ball.
The second half from then on was pretty much the same as it was the first as Hartlepool looked to be more comfortable and many of us were believing that the defeat was coming.
5 minutes of injury time was added on and Town thought they had managed to snatch an unlikely draw when Rhys Murphy converted from close range to draw the match level.
However, just one minute later, Jason Kennedy converted for Hartlepool to restore their advantage and seal the points.
Hartlepool deserved to win this game and the 138 Yeovil fans who made the long trip had little complaints about the result despite throwing away a point right at the death. We knew that the winning run would come to an end at some point and in some ways it's good that it has as we now get to see how the team respond to it on Tuesday in what will be an important game against 4th place Woking.
The defeat sees Yeovil stay in 3rd place on 28 points, one point behind Bromley (who lost at home to Barrow) on 29. Halifax Town return to the top of the table with 31 points after their win at Maidenhead.
Man of the Match Voting for the defeat at Hartlepool United is now open and will remain open until just after the Woking game on Tuesday evening. You can cast your vote here.
