The opening 10 minutes was a fairly scrappy affair, with neither side looking too comfortable on the ball. Yeovil seemed to be giving the ball away cheaply which allowed Woking to create chances.
Despite the shaky start, Yeovil went 1-0 up through Rhys Murphy as he converted from close range. This settled Yeovil down and they were able to play with much more confidence.
Just before half time Yeovil were awarded a penalty as Duffus was fouled in the box. Rhys Murphy stepped up to take the penalty which was blocked by Woking keeper Craig Ross. Murphy manged to control the ball and slot it past Ross to make it 2-0.
Just 3 minutes later Yeovil made it three as Murphy produced an excellent low cross into the box for Jimmy Smith to fire home.
In the second half Yeovil took their foot of the gas and was more content on slowing the game down, ensuring that Woking were kept at bay. This was working for the opening 20 minutes of the half but a stunning long range strike from Ibrahim Meite flew into the top corner to make it 3-1.
Woking sensed they could get back into the game and began to put Yeovil under a lot of pressure. The damage had already been done in the first half though, and although Woking managed to create a number of good opportunities Yeovil saw the game out for a 3-1 victory.
The result means Yeovil stay in third place but are now only one point behind league leaders Halifax Town.
