Man of the Match Voting Results for Chesterfield

Last Tuesday evening saw Yeovil Town claim all three points at struggling Chesterfield at the Proact Stadium. First half goals from Myles Hippolyte and Rhys Murphy were enough to see them through despite Chesterfield pulling a goal back in the second half and pushing for an equaliser late on.

The match kicked off 15 minutes late as rain was taking it's toll on the pitch but thankfully it eased up and the game went ahead.

2 minutes in and Town had the lead through Myles Hippolyte who found the bottom corner.

Town doubled their lead on 24 minutes as Rhys Murphy won a penalty and then converted it to put Town firmly in control of the match.

Chesterfield pulled one back in the second half thanks to a wonder strike from Curtis Weston. They continued to press in the second half but Yeovil held on for all three points.
