Man of the Match Voting for Yeovil v Maidenhead

Yeovil Town went down to a 2-1 defeat to Maidenhead United in a disappointing game at Huish Park. Looking to bounce back from their defeat at Barrow the previous week, the Glovers were unable to take any real command of the game. After a fairly even first half where neither side threatened to score, it was Maidenhead who took the lead on 56 minutes.

Maidenhead then had a penalty just one minute later but it was well saved by Stuart Nelson. Daniel Whitehall doubled Maidenhead's advantage on 85 minutes and that looked to be game over.

Yeovil dragged themselves back into the match on 86 minutes after Courtney Duffus calmly slotted the ball past Taye Ashby-Hammond in the Maidenhead goal.

Yeovil rallied in the final minutes but couldn't find that all important second goal - suffering their third defeat of the 2019-20 National League season.
