Mark Cooper made one change to the side that drew with Hampton & Richmond Borough last weekend. New loan signing Courtney Senior coming in for Charlie Cooper who dropped to the bench.
Yeovil opted for a 4-4-2 formation with Jay Foulston, Jake Wannell, Morgan Williams and Michael Smith in front of Joe Day. Courtney Senior, Matt Worthington, Sonny Blu Lo-Everton & Jordan Young were in midfield while Frank Nouble and Rhys Murphy were up front.
On the bench was Alex Whittle, Josh Owers, Will Dawes, Alex Fisher & Charlie Cooper.
This is probably going to be one of the shortest match reports I've ever written. Apart from the Yeovil goal, there really wasn't much to write about!
The game was very flat with neither side looking too threatening but Yeovil broke the deadlock on 36 minutes. A drop ball situation saw Rhys Murphy steal the ball, run forward and play in Frank Nouble who turned the ball home to give Town the lead.
Murphy had a chance to make it 2-0 shortly before half time but he saw his effort turned around the post by Harrison Foulkes.
Half Time: Eastbourne Borough 0-1 Yeovil Town
Eastbourne grew into the game a bit more in the second half but they never really looked like scoring. They made their first substitution on 55 minutes when Jack Paxman was replaced by Decarrey Sherrif.
Yeovil replaced Courtney Senior with Will Dawes on 65 minutes and Eastbourne replaced Scott Leslie With Fletcher Holman one minute later.
Rhys Murphy made way for Charlie Cooper on 77 minutes and Eastbourne replaced Jack Clarke with Imran Uche on 83 minutes.
The game slowly ticked away with the home side never really troubling Town and an un-eventful second half finished with Town claiming all three points.

Certainly not a classic today but three points is all that matters. We now sit 8 points clear with 50 points as we head into two local derbies with Taunton Town.
Our next fixture is on Boxing Day when Taunton Town visit Huish Park. Kick off is at 3:00PM
