Saturday afternoon saw Yeovil Town get off to a disappointing start at Huish Park as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Kings Lynn Town. Joe Quigley gave Yeovil the lead on 15 minutes but the game suddenly became more difficult for Yeovil on 38 minutes as Matt Worthington was shown a straight red card for a harsh challenge on Tyler Denton. In the second half Kings Lynn applied pressure and eventually that pressure paid off as Ethan Coleman equalised on 71 minutes and Manashe Sundrie scored the winner 5 minutes from time.
