Mark Cooper made one change to the side that were beaten 4-1 by Notts County at the weekend as Jordan Young replaced Malachi Linton who dropped to the bench.
Yeovil opted for what looked like a 5-3-2 formation with Ryan Law, Jamie Reckord, Morgan Williams, Josh Staunton and Edwin Agbaje in front of Grant Smith. Lawson D'Ath, Matt Worthington and Charlie Cooper were in midfield with Alex Fisher and Jordan Young in attack.
On the bench was Will Buse, Jordan Maguire-Drew, Will Dawes, Andrew Oluwabori and Malachi Linton.
The game was very quiet early on but it was Maidenhead who were the slightly better side. They got the first chance on 10 minutes but it was put wide.
As has been the case for much of the season, Yeovil can play some nice football in the buildup but then offer nothing in the final third. Any chance we got was either blasted over or just fizzled into nothing.
The only time we came close to testing the keeper was on 39 minutes when a free kick on the edge of the box from Jordan Young was pushed around the post.
Two minutes later Maidenhead took the lead when a corner wasn't properly defended and Sam Barratt was able to fire home.
Half Time: Maidenhead United 1-0 Yeovil Town
Mark Cooper made a change at half time as Jamie Reckord was replaced by Andrew Oluwabori.
The second half continued as a poor display of football, Yeovil often giving the ball away cheaply and struggling to put any pressure on the home side.
Yeovil made their second substitution on 63 minutes when Jordan Young was replaced by Jordan Maguire-Drew.
Two minutes later the home side doubled the lead when a poor clearance by Ryan Law saw the ball fall to Reece Smith who was able to find the bottom corner.
Yeovil made their final substitution on 72 minutes when Lawson D'Ath was replaced by Malachi Linton.
The remainder of the game was very frustrating for Yeovil. The game just ticked away with no threat from Yeovil and they returned to Somerset with a deserved defeat.
