Mark Cooper made three changes to the side that drew at Halifax Town last weekend. Matt Worthington was out with suspension while Lawson D'Ath was out with an injury and Edwin Agbaje had returned to Ipswich Town after being stretchered off last weekend. Chiori Johnson and new signings Callum Harriott and Miguel Freckleton took their places.
Yeovil opted for a 4-3-3 formation with Ryan Law, Owen Bevan, Josh Staunton and Chiori Johnson in front of Grant Smith. Charlie Cooper, Jordan Maguire-Drew and Miguel Freckleton made up the middle while Andrew Oluwabori and Callum Harriott were sat just behind Alex Fisher up front.
On the bench was Max Hunt, Malachi Linton, Reo Griffiths, Zanda Siziba and Scott Pollock.
Yeovil got off to a dreadful start and appeared to be unaware that were are in a relegation scrap.
It only took 4 minutes for the away side to take the lead when Yeovil failed to deal with a ball in the box and it eventually found Besart Topalloj who fired it home from close range.
Yeovil continued to be shaky at the back, and were also completely unable to get forward themselves. A mixture of last ditch defending, good saves from Grant Smith and some wayward shooting is the only thing that kept the score at 0-1.
The only real chance of note for Yeovil came on 24 minutes when a shot from Callum Harriott was deflected and pushed wide by Reice Charles-Cook.
2 minutes of time was added on at the end of the half and Yeovil somehow went in only trailing by a single goal.
Half Time: Yeovil Town 0-1 Bromley
Both sides made changes at half time as Yeovil replaced Callum Harriott with Scott Pollock and Bromley replaced Besert Topalloj with Billy Bingham.
Yeovil continued to struggle in the second half, and almost went further behind when a Bromley chance went begging on 51 minutes. A ball over the top of the defence was met by Michael Cheek who blasted the effort over the bar from close range.
Yeovil then made a double substitution in an attempt to get themselves going. Jordan Maguire-Drew was replaced by Zanda Siziba and Andrew Oluwabori was replaced by Reo Griffiths.
On 63 minutes Bromley caused havoc in the Yeovil defence and a goalmouth scramble eventually saw Grant Smith claim the ball but Bromley player Jude Arthurs kicked out at Grant Smith which sparked a bit of a melee. After things had settled both Arthurs and Smith were carded.
Bromley made their second substitution on 66 minutes when Kellen Fisher was replaced by James Vennings.
With 20 minutes to go Yeovil had to show some fight and give the home crowd something to cheer. Unfortunately, it never materialised. Yeovil never looked like scoring and as time ticked away it was becoming apparent that Yeovil could be there for months and not score.
Bromley made their last substitution on 86 minutes when Louis Dennis was replaced by Ben Krauhaus.
5 minutes of time was added on and Yeovil were ran out deservedly beaten.
Full Time: Yeovil Town 0-1 Bromley
Just like at Halifax last week, the performance was dreadful. To make matters worse, Gateshead won 3-2 at Aldershot Town to now leave us just 1 point above the drop zone. Gateshead have 2 games in hand over us and our position in the National League is under serious threat.
