• Welcome by the Alliance Chairman

Chairman welcomed all to the Meeting including guest Mike Cairncross for the Adam Stansfield Foundation plans for a Charity match on 17th May.

RR raised concerns about the Clubs reputation after being known as a family club for so long then turn to recent events and reputation is being affected.

Great to see the open bar on a match day which is a massive positive change. However, there are concerns raised with the price difference in the cost of the drinks compared to the marquee. DM to take action to investigate

• Approval of summary of last meeting: agreed and to publish.

• Update from Scott Priestnall:

First floor - Covenants are being altered at the moment and can now serve in hospitality. Was questioned whether would be a swap of marquee to bar but now have both. Is a temporary solution (agreed for a year) however the idea is to make permanent. More improvements to come, new staffing, new food and improved plans on a match day- food behind the bar, half time drinks. No current Boardroom plans, perhaps a membership, or sponsorship/entertainment suite with local businesses and sponsors.

Discussed team performance. Looking for improvements for January.

Tea bars – Pat Custard has returned with Brendon O’Connell supporting with ideas. Improvements are being made. It is gradual, there are lots of ideas but there are facility and cost restrictions. All tea bar staff to have training before Halifax game to concentrate on service. For Halifax there will be outside caterers for the home end.

Community Trust they are coming back to the Club as a base. Good work on primary stars in the process, with more initiatives coming.

Programme – looking at alternative programme ideas with the thoughts of moving to digital as it currently costs the club. Costs have been reviewed and reduced however still losing up to £6K in the first few months. Plan to increase back to £3 for Halifax and create honest story.

Club Shop – changes have been made. The Club are looking for volunteer support from the group to work this on a match day.

Stadium Update – JH on leave and update provided:

The lighting from Screwfix stand to Western Avenue – there will be a generator there for the winter.

PH questioned the away end and home end potholes, and his concerns with the winter and lighting.

JH has given ideas to SP which need to ensure the work is cost effective to consider investing.

Alliance Group accommodation –
DSA have some proposals to discuss which will be taken forward.
Glovers Trust – the gazebo is not working especially as the ticket collection booths have moved so they are now not in sightline for fans.
The Community Trust are coming back to HP

• Mike Carincross – Adam Stansfield Charity.
On 17th May charity on the main pitch.
6 aside tournament with paid entry.
A possible stage for live music.
Activities for children.
MC to put a plan together and send to DM. Sara has offered support.

• AOB:
RR – questioned plans for next season for the 125th Year. DM – to take forward

SP requested ideas to come forward from all Alliance groups regarding service, events, etc especially post games. AP for groups to do and to support driving attendances/ improve match day experience/ increase revenue.

BO questioned media volunteers and whether the Club feel that it works as there is the potential to lose connection with the fans.

BO raised request that meeting times are staggered to allow other members to attend. Agreed that the next meeting will be held on Wednesday 15th January at 6pm.
