Man of the Match Voting Results for Stockport

A week ago last Saturday afternoon saw Yeovil Town make it three wins in a row at Edgeley Park as a brilliant team performance proved too strong for Stockport County who had to play nearly 40 minutes with ten men. Charlie Wakefield scored Towns opener midway into the first half but Stockport began to come back at us after half time. The home side were reduced to ten men as Ash Palmer was given his marching orders on 52 minutes for pulling down Tom Knowles in the box while he was in on goal and Joe Quigley converted the resulting penalty. The performance was made complete in the 86th minute as substitute Adi Yussuf capitalised on a defensive mistake to grab his first goal for the club.
