Yeovil Town fell to a 1-0 defeat at Roots Hall last Saturday afternoon in a game where Yeovil had to play with 10 men for just over 70 minutes. Yeovil were playing well until Gime Toure was shown a straight red card for an off the ball incident with Kacper Lopata and the game shifted in Southend's favour. Jake Hyde put Southend in front just before half time and Yeovil couldn't find a way back into the game and returned to Somerset empty handed.
